Supervisor, Propane Service

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Propane Service Supervisor on a permanent basis at our branch in Winnipeg, MB.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Winnipeg, MB.

What you'll do:

• Oversee propane tank installations, and day-to-day customer service. 

• Anticipate and assess customers' propane heating needs, make fulfillment recommendations to the customers, and co-ordinate the completion of service work and propane deliveries.

• Maintain and build relationships with customers, community members, and local Co-ops. 

• Ensure proper propane tank inspections and maintenance on all equipment and trucks is being performed and documented.

• Support training, certification upkeep, performance management, and recruitment of the drivers and service technicians to maintain a compliant and engaged team.

• Complete daily administrative tasks on platforms such Excel and SharePoint to create and maintain records of accounts, sales, training, schedules, maintenance, etc.

Who you'll work with:
The Team: You will supervise a team of Service Technicians, and a Propane Clerk and will work closely with other Propane Supervisors in the Manitoba & Ontario zone. 

The Customers: You will demonstrate customer focus while supporting rural, commercial and residential propane customers.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in operations and:

• Domestic gasfitter ticket in good standing is required.
• 3-5 years experience as a service technician; preference for individuals with prior supervisory experience. 
• Are familiar with the Energy Service industry.
