Manufacturing Assistant (4 Month Summer Term) – Antec Controls
We are looking for a student who is technically inclined, who thrives on new challenges, and who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering disciplines are all welcome to this position.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include

• Support and maintain production processes, equipment, and spaces
• Write and maintain procedures for production processes and production control
• Support manufacturing projects to improve production layout, processes, jigs, systems, and equipment
• Support orders through production

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have

• Enrolled in post-secondary education for Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or Technologist or equivalent
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with an eye for detail
• A co-operative team player attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• An aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
• A high level of critical thinking and accountability
• Experience with hand tools and wiring considered an asset
