Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and construction, with the ability to work independently and efficiently. This role involves installing carpets in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and cut carpet materials to fit designated areas accurately.
  • Install carpet using appropriate techniques, including stretching, tacking, and gluing as necessary.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying underlayment as required.
  • Lay Carpet tile/ Carpet Rolls and perform related flooring installations as needed.
  • Read blueprints and project specifications to ensure precise installations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on-site.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in flooring installation, particularly carpet laying.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools related to construction and flooring installation.
  • Familiarity with carpentry techniques and caulking methods is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
