We're looking to add a dynamic and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to our team to support the growth of our clients and the development of our staff.

Job Overview

RealWorldABA is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Interventionist to join our team. As a Behaviour Interventionist, you will play a vital role in providing in-home and community based therapy to neurodiverse individuals. You will collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to implement individualized ABA therapy programs and contribute to the growth and development of each child by implementing individualized behavior intervention programs, working directly with clients while being supported by a Behaviour Consultant and under the guidance of a Clinical Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Client Care & Program Implementation:
  • Implement intervention programs, protocols, and behavior support plans developed by the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients, ensuring safety, well-being, and engagement in therapeutic activities.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Willingness to training the 40 hour RBT online training
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in client interactions and documentation.
  • Adhere to company policies and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with kids using the principles of ABA is a plus but not mandatory. Experience in trauma informed care is also a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and train others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid background check and ability to adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
  • Must have valid drivers license, own vehicle and be comfortable driving children.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Saint Andrews, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
