As part of its expansion in Canada and the ongoing structuring of its finance department, Biocodex Canada is seeking a
Finance Business Partner (V.I.E.)
.

This role is designed for a highly motivated candidate eager to contribute to a fast-growing organization, while gaining hands-on experience in
FP&A, operational accounting, and business intelligence
. You will work closely with the Finance Director and play an active role in building processes, strengthening financial culture within the subsidiary, and supporting strategic decision-making.

The position offers significant opportunities for learning, strategic exposure, and direct operational impact.

Job Responsibilities
Controlling & Financial Analysis (50%)

• Assist in monthly performance reviews (net sales, gross margin, OPEX).
• Prepare and report monthly P&Ls to headquarters (France) though BFC and Onestream.
• Contribute to variance analysis vs. budget and forecast.
• Support quarterly customer P&L and budget tracking reports.
• Support the creation of monthly performance deck and reports.

Accounting & Closing Activities (40%)

• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and closing entries.
• Prepare tax declarations and supporting documentation.
• Track monthly accruals (A&P and Gross ton net).
• Conduct P&L flux review.

Process & Reporting Optimization (5%)

• Document and improve financial processes.
• Help optimize monthly closing and reporting procedures (standardization, reliability).

Business Intelligence & Automation (5%)

• Assist in developing Power BI tools for performance analysis.
• Automate recurring Excel files to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Support the implementation of OneStream (consolidation tool).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, audit or FP&A, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (French proficiency is a plus but not mandatory).
• First professional experience preferred (background in audit is a plus, but not mandatory).
• Strong Excel skills (VBA or SQL is a plus).
• Interest or experience in Power BI is an asset.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (bookkeeping, P&L / balance sheet / provisions). IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and team spirit.
• Autonomous, structured and eager to learn.
