Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers.
  • Perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and carrying materials.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction or labour-intensive roles is preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction work.
  • A valid driver's license is an advantage but not mandatory.
