As a Bartle and Gibson Showroom Sales Consultant, you are welcoming and enthusiastic about providing an exceptional experience to every client, 5 days a week, from Monday to Saturday. Daytime hours are from 8:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday hours are from 9:00am – 1:00pm. You greet all your clients and guide them through the process of purchasing the right product for their project. Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Showroom Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our showroom, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, guiding them through product selections, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Greet customers and assess their needs to recommend the best products
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering guidance, and assisting with product selections
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
  • Provide quotes for clients and follow ups
  • Maintain showroom displays and ensure products are well-organized and visually appealing
  • Continually improve on product knowledge and stay up to date on the latest trends and innovative technology
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure showroom operations run smoothly
  • Develop and retain strong relationships with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, contractors and homeowners
  • Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information
  • Handle special orders, requests, issues/concerns with enthusiasm and efficiency
  • Examine and resolve customer issues, address short payments, and returns in a timely fashion
  • Conduct after sales service with customers
  • Maintain a professional image and personal sense of style in all engagements 
  • Other duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Grade 12 education required
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of two years' sales experience preferably in a retail or showroom setting
  • Knowledge of the fixture products would be considered an asset
