Our Data AI/ML Engineering team builds intelligent, scalable, and reliable systems that power decision-making and personalization at Priceline. We're expanding our Machine Learning Platform to accelerate innovation, democratize AI adoption across teams, and bring cutting-edge ML and GenAI capabilities into production.
You'll have the opportunity to design, build, and scale machine learning models, pipelines, and platform components in a high-impact environment. From model experimentation to LLMOps, from feature engineering to deployment frameworks—you'll help shape the next generation of Priceline's AI platform.
In this role you will get to:
Model Development & Delivery
Develop, productionize, and maintain machine learning models on large, complex datasets to solve business problems across pricing, personalization, forecasting, NLP, and vision domains.
Research, experiment, and design your own model architectures and improve existing ones.
Partner with data scientists to deploy and operationalize ML models for large-scale, low-latency production systems.
ML Platform & MLOps Engineering
Build and enhance ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment using frameworks such as Vertex AI
Design and implement CI/CD for ML (AutoMLOps) including model versioning, feature management, and automated retraining.
Develop tools and frameworks to streamline data ingestion, feature extraction, and model registry integration.
Work with orchestration tools like Airflow, Cloud Composer, or Kubeflow for workflow automation and monitoring.
LLMOps & Responsible AI
Collaborate on building guardrails and observability frameworks for LLMs—covering evaluation (evals), prompt management, safety, and cost optimization.
Design scalable evaluation pipelines for LLM-based agents and integrate monitoring tools (e.g., Arize, LangSmith, LiteLLM).
Contribute to frameworks enabling secure, policy-aligned, and explainable AI deployments.
Collaboration & Impact
Partner closely with data engineers, platform engineers, and product teams to embed ML and GenAI capabilities into Priceline's core products.
Translate complex technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for business and product stakeholders.
Drive best practices in code quality, observability, and responsible AI across the ML lifecycle.
Who you are:
Masters or PhD qualification in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Machine Learning / AI, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, etc
6+ years of commercial/academic experience with demonstrated technical skills in one or more of the following areas: NLP, Classification, Statistical Modelling, Deep Learning and Forecasting
Experience in implementing artificial intelligence/machine learning solutions in Python and Tensorflow
Professional experience developing software or machine learning models
Experience working with Spark/Pyspark on large and noisy datasets and the steps it takes normalize and cleanse them
Experience evaluating and improving existing machine learning models
Eagerness to learn new techniques, technologies, solve problems and contribute in a team environment
Familiarity with AWS (Sagemaker, Athena, Lambda, IAM, EKS)
Experience with Tensorflow, Keras, Pandas, Numpy and Flask

Flexible work at PricelinePriceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
