AZ Self Loader Truck Operator

We are looking for a reliable AZ Self Loader Operator to safely operate self-loading log and material trucks, complete assigned deliveries, and perform daily vehicle inspections. This role requires strong driving skills, safe operation of equipment, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a self-loading log or material truck to pick up and deliver goods to residential and commercial customers.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck and loading equipment.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded properly and safely.
- Complete accurate driver paperwork, logs and end-of-day check-ins.
- Communicate with dispatch for assignments and updates.
- Perform other duties as required (e.g., dump trucks, floating services, log hauling).
Requirements
- Valid Class AZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of heavy truck-driving experience; self-loading equipment experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work safely, professionally, and with minimal supervision.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of safe loading and securing of cargo.
- Ability to conduct thorough vehicle safety checks.
- Customer-focused with strong work ethic and reliability.
Salary
- Starting wage $30/hr
- Three-month probation period required
