The Opportunity

Ready to Make an Impact? This is your opportunity to collaborate on some of the most impactful healthcare projects in the Greater Toronto Area. As an Electrical Engineering Co-op Student in our Building GTA M&E Healthcare Team, based in our Thornhill office, you'll gain hands-on experience in electrical design and cutting-edge modeling tools while contributing to projects that improve patient care environments.

Your Impact

• Assist in designing electrical systems for healthcare facilities, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings and develop Revit 3D models to support project delivery.
• Apply BIM360 services to enhance collaboration and efficiency across multidisciplinary teams.
• Learn and apply Ontario Building Code (OBC), Electrical Safety Authority standards, and IEEE guidelines in real-world projects.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure quality and timely completion of deliverables.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program at a recognized institution.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit 3D modeling; exposure to BIM360 is an asset.
• Interest in building electrical systems and compliance with OBC and ESA standards.
• Knowledge of engineering software for arc flash, load, fault, and coordination studies is a plus.
• A proactive learner with strong organizational skills and a passion for contributing to impactful projects.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $24.00 – $32.25 per hour
MB & ON: $22.50 – $30.25 per hour
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $21.50 – $30.25 per hour
