We are seeking a
Senior Full Stack Software Developer
with
5+ years of hands-on experience
to join our team in Ontario The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex web applications and digital platforms. This position requires a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, along with hands-on experience integrating multiple systems and APIs. You'll collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions that support organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
- Develop front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Build and maintain back-end services and APIs using technologies such as , Java, or Python.
- Integrate front-end and back-end components for seamless functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and DevOps engineers.
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
Requirements / Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Back-end experience with , Python, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of application security and performance optimization techniques.
