We are seeking an experienced Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering personalized consultations, executing various hair treatments, and ensuring client satisfaction through professional and friendly interactions.

Duties

  • Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special occasion styles
  • Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable treatments
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
  • Upsell retail products to enhance client experience and meet their hair care needs
  • Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
  • Foster strong communication with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling to provide innovative services
  • Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a professional salon setting
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele
  • Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, color treatments, and sanitation protocols
  • Effective communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
  • Ability to upsell retail products confidently and professionally
  • Experience with retail sales and front desk operations preferred
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude dedicated to creating a welcoming salon environment
  • Social Media knowledge for promoting your work is very much an asset
  • Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
