KOTRA Vancouver is hiring a full-time permanent employee as detailed below.

Job Field:
 Marketing support and Research in Korean (e.g., report writing, overseas market news)

Position:
 Trade Promotion Officer

Type
: Full-time (40 hours/week), permanent

Working Hours
: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8 hours per day)

Annual Salary:
 $54,000–$55,800 (depending on experience)

Benefits
: Individual health insurance or group plans (including medical, dental, and vision coverage)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning and supporting trade promotion and marketing programs for Korean SMEs entering the Canadian market

  • Identifying and managing Canadian buyers and Business partners

  • Supporting the organization of events such as exhibitions and webinars

  • Researching local market, product, and industry trends

  • Assisting with trade office administrative tasks, including receptions and general duties

Qualifications, Skill & Abilities

  • Must be a Canadian permanent resident or citizen

  • Proficient in both English and Korean (including written documentation)

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Must have no restrictions on international travel

  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data related to the work

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams and others)

Preferences:

  • Experience in international trade, marketing, or related fields

  • Experience in B2B sales or business development
