Trade Promotion Officer
Type
: Full-time (40 hours/week), permanent
Working Hours
: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8 hours per day)
Annual Salary:
$54,000–$55,800 (depending on experience)
Benefits
: Individual health insurance or group plans (including medical, dental, and vision coverage)
Main Responsibilities:
Planning and supporting trade promotion and marketing programs for Korean SMEs entering the Canadian market
Identifying and managing Canadian buyers and Business partners
Supporting the organization of events such as exhibitions and webinars
Researching local market, product, and industry trends
Assisting with trade office administrative tasks, including receptions and general duties
Qualifications, Skill & Abilities
Must be a Canadian permanent resident or citizen
Proficient in both English and Korean (including written documentation)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Must have no restrictions on international travel
Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data related to the work
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams and others)
Preferences:
Experience in international trade, marketing, or related fields
Experience in B2B sales or business development
