Senior Living Advisor
For nearly 40 years, Visavie, a Spectrum Health Care company, has been guiding seniors and their families through one of life's most important transitions: finding the right retirement living solution. Our service is free for families, fully personalized, and rooted in compassion.
We are expanding in Ontario and are looking for motivated Senior Living Advisors to join our growing network.
What is a Senior Living Advisor?
A Senior Living Advisor is a trusted guide who helps seniors and their families explore and choose retirement residences. You'll provide personalized advice, emotional support, and practical guidance from the first call to the moment families find the right home.
This role is commission-based only (no base pay). Success depends on your initiative, networking, and business development efforts.
What You'll Do
- Respond to new referrals and inquiries from families.
- Have phone or in-person consultations to assess needs and preferences.
- Research retirement residences and organize visits with families.
- Accompany clients on tours, provide advice, and guide decision-making.
- Document client interactions and follow-ups.
- Build your network through community events, healthcare partners, and local organizations.
What Makes a Great Advisor
- Empathetic and compassionate — able to support families during emotional times.
- Strong communicators and active listeners.
- Ease with technology, as documentation is done in our CRM, requiring good computer skills.
- Skilled in customer service, sales, or business development (health care experience is an asset).
- Organized, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial.
- Resilient, adaptable, and excited to build their own practice.
Realities to Be Aware Of
- This is an Independent Contractor role. You'll be managing your own time, schedule, and clients — with full flexibility but also full responsibility.
- There is no base salary. Income is commission-based and depends on your business development efforts.
- Top performers earn $100,000 per year, while most advisors earn between $60,000–$80,000.
- Visavie provides training, coaching, and some leads, but success requires proactive networking and relationship-building.
Why Join Visavie?
- Impact: Make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
- Flexibility: Build your own schedule and be your own boss.
- Training & Support: Comprehensive onboarding, continuous coaching, and a strong support network.
- Unlimited Earning Potential: Your initiative directly determines your success.
