– Join our Ottawa Building Technologies team and contribute to projects that shape the future of IT infrastructure, security systems, and technology integration. As a
BIM/CAD Technology Designer
, you'll work on large-scale institutional, municipal, healthcare, and commercial projects, delivering design excellence and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring innovative solutions to life.

Your Impact

• Create and modify design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools in compliance with company and government standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to integrate concepts into comprehensive drawing packages.
• Conduct technology research and apply findings to enhance project delivery.
• Coordinate design documentation across disciplines to maintain quality and consistency.
• Support tender and construction phases with accurate drawings and specifications.
• Adapt quickly to dynamic project requirements and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Travel periodically for client meetings and site reviews.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Post-secondary education in drafting or construction-related fields, with emphasis on electrical or electronic disciplines.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM-related software (MicroStation experience is an asset).
• Knowledge of IT, security, and AV systems is an advantage.
• Ability to obtain Public Works and Government Services Canada Level II Secret security clearance (mandatory).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU:
$60,100 – $79,600

MB & ON:
$54,800 – $75,400

Atlantic Provinces & QC:
$54,200 – $72,000
