You will contribute to our team by:

• Assist engineers with the design and development of mechanical or electrical systems.

• Apply classroom concepts to real-world challenges to improve performance and reliability.

• Work as part of project teams to support deliverables from start to finish.

• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.

• Gain exposure to industry standards, tools, and best practices.

• Receive mentorship and hands-on training with cutting-edge technologies.

What you will bring to the role:    

Education:

• Completion of at least two years in a post-secondary Engineering degree program of either Mechanical or Electrical and still enrolled in the program.

Experience:

• Analytical skills to identify potential problems related to position responsibilities.

• Ability to work effectively with others to resolve issues as part of a team.

• Planning and time management capabilities, along with independent problem-solving skills.

• Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.

• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (PowerShell, Python, VBA) for automation tasks.

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid Office/Work from home position.

Additional Details:

Hours of Work: 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week

Union: CSU52 (ENCO)

Wage: $33.62

As this is a safety sensitive position, clearance of a pre-employment drug & alcohol test is required, subject to applicable law.

In order to be considered for this role you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
