In summary, what is the role about?

Reporting to the manager, the Help Desk Student provides daily phone support to internal and external users, as well as support to the department coordinator in carrying out tasks.

  • Studies in Computer Technology or another IT‑related program in progress
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong ability to prioritize requests and manage priorities

As a Help Desk Student, what will your responsibilities be?

  • Process and assign IT tickets
  • Communicate with users (in person, online, or remotely) to understand, document, and resolve their issues
  • Handle level‑1 support requests (configuration, applications, Internet, user support, etc.)
  • Provide support for printers and other equipment
  • Update tickets with identified issues and applied solutions
  • Perform PC migrations and data restoration
  • Provide support for mobile devices
  • Carry out any other related tasks associated with the role
