Department Overview
The TD Insurance Marketing team leads the marketing strategy development across all TD Insurance products including General Insurance (Home & Auto), Life & Health, and Small Business Insurance. The team partners with the TDI business unit to design world class marketing strategies and campaigns that drive shareholder value and customer loyalty. The team owns creating consumer insights, monitoring trends, creating marketing strategies and plans, developing integrated campaigns, and monitoring/improving in market results. As a key business partner, the team acts as an advisor to the business on all aspects of marketing, influencing the business strategy, as well as ensuring that the TD brand is protected and delivered in the customer experience.

The focus for this role will be on the Customer Engagement team. This team is focused on driving adoption of digital tools and services, customer retention, and loyalty. Typical programs include always-on Onboarding and Customer Renewal Triggers – in addition to stand-alone targeted campaigns like insurance education and advice.

Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of businesses at TD. Job Description
This 4-month summer term will provide you with exposure to various groups across TD Marketing, including: Integrated Marketing Planning, Digital Performance Marketing, Data and Analytics, as well as external agency partners.

How You Will Contribute

  • Assist in leading the Insurance Annual Plan, translating business objectives into marketing strategies by understanding the Insurance market and growth drivers.
  • Work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision; establish priorities, and use your strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each project you are assigned.
  • Define opportunities for continued enhancements to business processes and make recommendations within assigned area of responsibility.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with an undergraduate degree or diploma in Business/Commerce or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Demonstrated leadership through volunteer activities, community involvement or related experience
  • Problem solving skills and proven analytical capabilities
  • Quantitative ability to draw insights from data
  • English and French Bilingual is an asset
  • Excellent verbal communication and written communication skills
  • Proven strength managing relationships
  • Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 4th – August 21st, 2026.
