About our Office
If you are an energetic professional with strong bookkeeping, communication and administrative skills, we would love to hear from you. Fonda's Plumbing & Heating is a fast-paced office. We are currently looking for someone with superior organizational skills to assist with our rapid growth. The successful candidate would be providing support to dispatch and our warehouse staff as needed.
Responsibilities
· Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
· Bookkeeping
· Complete full-cycle bookkeeping transactions in QBO.
· Process payroll, including tracking employee hours, calculating wages, and ensuring accurate payment distribution.
· Accounts Receivable
· Accounts Payable
· Job Costing
· Update and maintain an efficient filing system.
· Review, modify, and prepare general templates, letters, reports, Word documents, Excel workbooks, and other correspondence; research, compile, and summarize information/data as applicable.
· Update and maintain the internal database.
· Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
· Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership.
Skills and Experience
· A certificate or diploma in bookkeeping is considered an asset
· 3+ years of bookkeeping and payroll experience
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
· Strong attention to detail and experience with reconciliation
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe
· Experience with QBO is required
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
