We're seeking a
Marketing Director
to lead the next chapter of our journey. This visionary leader will craft and execute Green Beaver's marketing strategy, inspire and mentor a dynamic team, and accelerate growth across both our direct-to-consumer channels and our retail presence in Health Food Stores, Grocery, and Pharmacy. Above all, this role will champion our mission to remain authentic, natural, and unmistakably Canadian as we continue to scale to new heights.
Strategic Leadership
- Shape and own the marketing strategy to strengthen Green Beaver's position as Canada's leading natural personal care brand.
- Act as a key member of the senior management team, collaborating with Sales, Operations, HR, and Finance to align corporate strategy with Green Beaver's mission and long-term growth objectives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and empower the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and results.
- Oversee functional roles and ensure delivery of key outcomes:
Digital Marketing Manager
– Market & consumer insights, data analysis & reporting, campaign performance, sales & trade support.
Social Media Specialist
– Content creation & execution, community engagement, platform growth, paid campaign optimization.
Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator
– Brand identity, packaging design, digital assets, retail & trade marketing materials.
Brand Stewardship
- Safeguard a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all touchpoints: packaging, website, retail, and communications.
- Lead storytelling initiatives that highlight natural benefits and celebrate Green Beaver's Canadian roots.
- Drive go-to-market strategies including launch timelines, pricing, positioning, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure all marketing claims comply with Health Canada and cosmetic regulations.
Digital & E-Commerce Growth
- Accelerate direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales via Green Beaver's website and online platforms.
- Oversee SEO, SEM, social media advertising, influencer partnerships, affiliate programs, and email marketing.
- Optimize key performance levers: conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
Retail & Trade Marketing
- Partner with Sales to expand brand presence across FDM retailers.
- Develop and execute in-store programs including POS displays, signage, co-op advertising, and sampling.
- Provide impactful sales tools—presentations, sell sheets, promotional plans—to support new listings and drive expansion.
- Monitor sell-through data and adapt strategies to increase velocity and market share.
Innovation & Product Lifecycle
- Collaborate with the owner and Sales team as part of Green Beaver's
InnoCycle
process. - Identify opportunities for innovation, guide product development, and manage product lifecycles from launch through maturity.
Budget & Performance Management
- Own the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation across digital, trade, and brand-building initiatives.
- Define and track KPIs to measure success, including market share, online traffic, brand awareness, engagement, and retail performance.
Qualifications :
- Proven marketing leadership in CPG, personal care, or a related consumer brand.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline
- Knowledge and experience with retail/trade marketing in FDM channels.
- Knowledge and expertise in digital marketing and e-commerce.
- Creative, data-driven, collaborative leader.
- Fluency in both French and English.
