(Senior) Scheduler (Civil Construction)
Maple Reinders is growing and taking on larger, more complex Heavy Civil projects — and we're seeking a Senior Scheduler to enhance our planning and scheduling systems.
You'll ensure project teams follow standardized procedures to strengthen quality, consistency, and risk management.
Use your construction scheduling expertise to help drive excellence across our Heavy Civil projects nationwide.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain consistent and realistic schedules for projects.
- Develop the activities, logic, resource loading and progress to provide a fully integrated project schedule, leading to the creation of the baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance throughout all phases of projects (submittals approvals, procurement, construction, testing, start-up and commissioning). ,
- Produce all associated (relevant) reports including cash flow reports and resource loaded schedules, based on project estimates and master schedule.
- Interface/maintain liaison with project management, owner, subcontractors, etc. on all planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress status, new impacts, etc.
- Support the Project Management Team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems. Including impact analysis'.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 10-15 years of previous scheduling experience in the civil construction industry
- Advanced knowledge of schedule software/core standards including previous experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- A comprehensive understanding of construction logic, procurement sequences, fabrication shop load requirements and construction techniques
- A Degree in Project/Construction Management or Engineering, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
- Previous construction experience on Water Treatment/Wastewater Treatment projects is considered an asset.
