Academy Hockey Assistant Coach

Academy Stream (Competitive)

The head coach will be responsible for assisting the team's head coach with all responsibilities associated with their team. Commitment is 3 practices per week, between September and April. Occasional light travel may be required.

Who Is Ideal?

This role is ideal for someone with a strong hockey background, previous hockey coaching experience in a team environment and strong communication skills.

All applicants must have experience working with kids ages 7-15 in a formal hockey setting. Hockey coaching experience is a required asset for Academy programs. All coaches must be able to communicate effectively, act in a professional manner, and abide by the TOP Hockey coaching philosophies at all times.

What Do We Offer?

This role is ideal for former athletes and hockey players looking to reconnect with the game while inspiring passion in the next generation. We offer very competitive compensation and extensive coach training programs to help you become the best coach you can be. All practice dates and times are set and provided ahead of the start of the season, making scheduling around working and other commitments easy. All practices take place in the midtown Toronto area (North Toronto, North York).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00 per hour
