Rate: $25/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Provide social and emotional support to children and youth in a residential setting.
- Conduct intake assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans.
- Facilitate daily routines, educational, and recreational activities to promote engagement and growth.
- Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and documentation in line with agency standards.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Collaborate with healthcare and educational professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Uphold confidentiality, professional ethics, and compliance with all agency and legal requirements.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Social Service Work or a related field.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Valid COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and Child Welfare Record Check (BSC).
- Current TB Test and Immunization Record.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

- Oshawa, ON (L1J): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CPR Certification (required)
