Position Summary

The successful candidate for this full-time, permanent position will provide advice and assistance to all stakeholders regarding health recovery and return to work processes.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • performing disability case management and facilitating the return to work of employees who are away from work due to illness or injury
  • providing advice and assistance with establishing health recovery goals and objectives
  • developing and monitoring individual return to work plans
  • recommending workplace modification options
  • facilitating referrals and follow-up
  • facilitating regular, open communication between stakeholders including union representatives
  • providing support to the employee and family members regarding health recovery issues

Education/Qualifications

  • undergraduate degree in Disability Management or a related field
  • a minimum of three years related experience
  • currency with health recovery trends
  • knowledge of WCB processes
  • knowledge of education or public sector systems is an asset
  • strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills
  • excellent problem solving, consultation and communication skills
  • the ability to work in a high volume environment with tight timelines

Rate of Pay

$ $61.05 per hour
