Apprentice Technician – Saskatoon, SKLocation: First Student, Saskatoon

First Student is North America's largest provider of school bus services. We're currently looking for a motivated Apprentice Technician to join our Saskatoon maintenance team. If you're enrolled in or have recently completed a Heavy Duty or Automotive Technician program and want hands-on experience with a supportive team, we want to hear from you.
What you'll do:- Assist licensed technicians in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing school buses and other vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Learn to use diagnostic tools and software
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Ensure safety standards and company procedures are followed
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship program (Level 1 or higher)
- Valid driver's license (Class 5); willingness to obtain Class 2 with S endorsement (we'll help)
- Strong interest in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Competitive hourly wage and regular wage progression as you advance through your apprenticeship
- Tool allowance and access to specialty tools
- Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, RRSP match)
- Paid training and support to obtain your Class 2 license
- Opportunities for advancement to Journeyman Technician roles
