We are looking for a Junior IT Project Coordinator for one of our clients in Mississauga

Client: Consulting

Location: 3 days a week in Mississauga

Duration: 6 months contract

Rate: $25/hr max

Top 3 Required Skills:

1.Project coordinator/support - IT

2.Manage Purchase orders, SOWs, Liasion with Finances, Vendors

3.Support Project Managers/Stake Holders to track and monitor the schedules

Top 3 Preferred Skills:

1.Accurately record and track all stock, Pcard, and SOW orders

2.Create Purchase Orders, Purchasing Card, and Stock Orders based on requests

3.Manage project meeting calendars utilizing MS Office tools and Smartsheet

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

  • 4+ years of experience in a dynamic professional environment

  • Strong computer skills required, working with multiple software packages including MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), Smartsheet, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI

  • Knowledge in Planisware database a plus

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage project meeting calendars utilizing MS Office tools and Smartsheet.

  • Own and maintain Program templates.

  • Facilitate Program Management Staff Meetings.

Project Support:

  • Create Purchase Orders, Purchasing Card, and Stock Orders based on requests, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to processes

  • Handle import and export documentation for both domestic and international shipments.

  • Accurately record and track all stock, Pcard, and SOW orders.

  • Respond to global Program Management and internal inquiries about order status and invoice follow-ups.

  • Assist Program teams with financial oversight including monthly budget closes and reconciliation

  • Tracking and auditing program deliverables

  • Developing, maintaining, and training on PMO processes

  • Manage materials, including ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing program materials worldwide.

Additionally:

  • Provide expert guidance on essential database tools used in program management, delivering both one-on-one and group training sessions as required

  • Interface with cross functional teams to support Program Management activities and processes

  • Identify areas for improvement and implement where needed.
