Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Support patients with mobility challenges through safe lifting and transfer techniques
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
  • Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is preferred
  • Ability to assist with mobility support
  • Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
  • Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized care is advantageous
  • Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently while following established care protocols
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet client requirements
