Responsibilities
- Provide personalized patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support patients with mobility challenges through safe lifting and transfer techniques
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is preferred
- Ability to assist with mobility support
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized care is advantageous
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently while following established care protocols
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet client requirements
