BaoBao Arts Centre is an arts and music school based in central Port Coquitlam. We are looking for a qualified woodwind teacher to run the year round woodwind program including flute, clarinet, saxophoe, oboe etc. The chosen candidate would have at least a bachelor's degree in woodwind performance with 5 or more years of experience teaching students of ages 5-19. We are looking for a passionate music teacher that can help our students excel in musicality, expression, technique, and confidence. The hired teacher would have opportunity to expand the program and increase additional teaching hours.

Qualifications:

-At least a bachelor degree in music education or woodwind performance (flute, saxophone, clarinet, oboe etc)

-Experience and knowledge in teaching kids ages 5-19

-Experience working with group and ensembles

-Passionate teacher with wide knowledge in many genres of music

-At least 5 years of experience of teaching

• Familiar with the RCM curriculum

-Active communicator with administrative staff

-Punctual

-Responsible

-Passionate

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
