The Gisborne Group is a multi disciplined Industrial Construction & Fire Protection company that has been in continuous operation for over 65 years and performs work throughout Canada.

Summary:

The Project Coordinator will support the team with day-to-day coordination of the project. This role is responsible for project administration, schedule and cost tracking, documentation control, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with corporate procedures and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily project coordination.
  • Assist with mobilization/demobilization of labour, equipment, and resources.
  • Maintain project documentation
  • Coordinate project activities to support schedule and budget commitments.
  • Track daily production, percent completes, and project progress
  • Identify project risks, issues, and technical challenges and assist with resolutions.
  • Support change management, document control, and invoice processing.
  • Assist with RFQs/RFPs, basic cost comparisons, procurement, and quantity take-offs.
  • Prepare and recover daily Labour, Material, and Equipment (LEM) tickets.
  • Compile weekly and monthly project reports
  • Attend meetings, track action items, and coordinate communication
  • Support tools, consumables, and site logistics management.
  • Train and support new team members on project procedures and systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with scheduling software.
  • Experience in industrial or commercial construction required.
  • Fire Protection system knowledge and/or experience is a strong asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to estimating software is an asset.
  • Client-focused mindset with attention to detail and deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly Base Rate $42.00-$44.00
  • 10.8% Paid in Lieu of Vacation/Stat
