Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and providing excellent service to patrons.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options.
  • Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking drink supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Uphold food safety standards while handling ingredients and preparing drinks.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage trends.
  • Proficient in cashiering skills, including cash handling and basic math for accurate transaction processing.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
  • Must be of legal drinking age as required by state law.
