We currently have over 150 childcares across Canada & USA and are constantly expanding; come and grow within the company
Responsibilities

  • Ensuring safety while driving the kids from point A to point B
  • Maintain documentation, reporting and record keeping
  • Implement an Emergent Curriculum
  • Support children's emotional, physical, or behavioural well-being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
  • Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
  • Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
  • Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
  • Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops
  • Meet all classroom ratios as outlined
  • Maintain clean and in good condition the Company Vehicle

Specifications

  • Driver's License Class 5 (GDL)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers
  • Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
  • Strong collaborator and team player
  • Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom

Qualifications

  • ECE certified (Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Clean Driving License History (Abstract)
  • Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up-to 45 pounds
