Barber / Men's Hair Specialist – Canfora Hair Studio (Fredericton, NB)

Canfora Hair Studio is a modern, European-inspired barbershop in downtown Fredericton, known for tailored haircuts, relaxed vibes, and a strong focus on grooming education and client experience. We're growing and looking for a talented barber to join our chair.

Position

ARole: Barber / Men's Hair Specialist

Type: Full-time or Part-time

Start: As soon as possible

Apprenticeship: Structured apprenticeship pathway available for the right candidate.

What you'll do

  • Perform high-quality haircuts, fades, scissor work, beard trims and line-ups
  • Offer professional consultations based on face shape, lifestyle, and hair texture
  • Educate clients on at-home care and recommend grooming products (Canfora Lab)
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and uphold studio hygiene standards
  • Provide a calm, respectful, and welcoming experience for every client
  • Work as part of a small, professional team focused on consistency and growth

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of professional barbering or men's haircutting experience
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in client consultation
  • Solid technical skills in both clipper and scissor work
  • Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the brand
  • Valid right to work in Canada
