The Role

As a Fence Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for fencing projects. You'll work closely with customers, sales team, and field crews to ensure projects are scoped correctly and priced efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Ownership of customer experience from start to finish

· Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and site conditions

· Measure and estimate materials, labour, and timelines for fencing projects

· Prepare and present detailed, accurate quotes and proposals

· Review project plans, specifications, and client requirements

· Communicate with suppliers to obtain material pricing

· Collaborate with operations and installation teams to ensure feasibility

· Follow up on submitted quotes and respond to client inquiries

· Maintain organized records of estimates and project data

Qualifications & Skills

· Previous experience estimating fences or related construction projects (preferred)

· Strong understanding of fencing materials (wood, chain link, vinyl, ornamental, etc.)

· Excellent math, measurement, and analytical skills

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Professional communication and customer service skills

· Ability to read site plans and specifications

· Proficiency with estimating software, Excel, or similar tools

· Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites

Pay: $55,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
