Job Title: Infusion Nurse (RN)
Location: Windsor, ON
Schedule: Casual
Clinic Hours: 6-8 Hours a week (2 days per week)
Home Pharma: 5-6 Hours a week (1-2 days per week)
Hourly Rate of Pay: $ $52.00 

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Infusion Nurse (RN) specialized in in infusion, injectable or oral pharmacological treatment in the home and/or clinic settings to join our amazing team working in the Windsor Region facilities. We're ready when you are

Reporting to the Specialty Pharma Supervisor and/or Nurse Manager, delivers and monitors specialized infusion, injectable or oral pharmacological treatments in the home and/or clinic setting. The infusion nurse is responsible for monitoring the patient for infusion related reactions (intervening as required), accurately documenting the procedure, and submitting reporting in a timely manner.

The position is casual in nature as the nurse will provide their availability and manage their patient portfolio. We will work with you to assemble a working schedule that fits your lifestyle. Specialty Pharma Nursing is a one-on-one patient experience, and we strive to ensure that patients stay with the same nurse infusion to infusion to ensure the best quality of care.

Job Qualifications 

Our "exemplary standing" with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.

• Graduated from an accredited nursing education program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent
• Current registration and in good standing with provincial nursing regulatory body
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Chemotherapy – Biotherapy course completion is an asset
• Experience in a Critical Care (ER or ICU) infusion clinic, or oncology experience is preferred
• Experience in administering specialty pharmaceuticals using peripheral IV initiation skills and central lines
• Experience with home care is an asset
• Valid driver's license
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire.
