Business Analyst

Mandatory On-Site: 5 days in-office in Downtown Toronto or Waterloo

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the gathering and analysis of business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive requirements artifacts such as specifications, test cases, mockups, workflows, and user stories.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Utilize design/prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or Visio to create detailed mockups and prototypes.
  • Provide strategic input on UX/UI designs based on modern trends across devices and platforms.
  • Analyze complex data inputs from both business and technical perspectives to define actionable solutions.
  • Maintain strong documentation standards with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Who You Are:

  • A seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles (e.g., UI/UX design, product management).
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of at least one programming language to facilitate communication with development teams.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in design/prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or Visio.
  • Expertise in converting complex business input into clear technical requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams at all levels.
  • Proven ability to document processes comprehensively while maintaining attention to detail.
