Job Overview

NT Parr Plumbing & Heating Incorporated is seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber & Gas Fitter (G2) to join our growing team. We specialize in new residential builds, commercial builds, renovations, and custom homes, with the majority of our work focused on planned construction projects rather than frequent service calls.

This position is ideal for a professional who prefers new installations and renovation work. Service work is minimal, as our main contracts are based on new builds and renovations, offering steady, organized job sites and long-term projects.

You will work on a wide range of plumbing, heating, and gas systems including boiler systems, in-floor heating, hydronic heating systems, and gas piping and appliances, contributing to high-quality residential and commercial construction from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install plumbing systems for new residential and commercial builds
  • Perform plumbing installations for renovations and custom home projects
  • Install, modify, and test gas piping and gas-fired appliances
  • Complete gas fitting work in accordance with CSA standards and local codes
  • Install and service boiler systems
  • Install and maintain in-floor heating (floor heat) systems
  • Work with hydronic heating systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure all plumbing and gas work complies with building codes and safety regulations
  • Perform limited service work when required (not a primary focus)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients

Qualifications

  • Valid Plumbing License (required)
  • Valid G2 Gas Technician License (required)
  • Experience with residential and commercial construction plumbing
  • Experience with gas fitting, boilers, hydronic systems, and floor heating (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license
