Overview

We are seeking a professional and dependable Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating tractor-trailers .This role involves delivering freight safely and efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, a clean driving record. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in commercial driving and route delivery to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers
• Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to schedules and safety protocols
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or issues during routes
• Follow all federal, state, and company regulations related to trucking and transportation safety

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type (e.g., tanker, flatbed)
• Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred
• Delivery driver experience with route driving preferred
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in recent years
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings
