We are seeking a passionate and skilled Junior Game Developer / Instructor to join us. The ideal candidate will contribute to game development projects and deliver engaging lectures to students in game programming.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Mentorship

    • Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on topics such as gameplay programming, scripting, and engine mechanics.
    • Guide students through the development of 2D and 3D games using industry-standard tools.
    • Evaluate student projects, provide constructive feedback, and help foster a strong learning environment.
    • Stay current with gaming trends and integrate new techniques and tools into the curriculum.

Game Development

    • Collaborate with the in-house game development team on active projects (e.g., prototyping, gameplay logic, optimization).
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# or C++.
    • Work with artists, designers, and animators to integrate assets and implement core game mechanics.
    • Debug and optimize code for performance across platforms (PC, console, or mobile).

Required Skills & Qualifications

    • 2–3 years of professional experience in game programming or development.
    • Strong proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine.
    • Solid understanding of C#, C++, or other relevant programming languages.
    • Experience with AI, physics, animation systems, and game optimization techniques.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, Perforce).
    • Basic knowledge of Python programming.
    • Exposure to AI concepts and tools.
    • Hands-on experience working on at least one game project.
    • Ability to work effectively in dynamic and agile development environments.
    • Experience deploying applications to iOS and Android platforms.
    • Strong understanding of game mechanics and game logic.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Fluency in English and ability to deliver lectures to students in game programming.
    • Passion for both game creation and teaching/mentoring students.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
    • Experience developing for console or VR/AR platforms.
    • Prior teaching, mentoring, or workshop facilitation experience.
    • Knowledge of shader programming, multiplayer networking, or procedural generation is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38,500.00-$41,000.00 per year
