Agropur is looking for a Senior Finance Transformation Advisor who is passionate about performance improvement and motivated to play a strategic role in transforming the finance function and the organization by joining its team in St-Hubert.

Reporting to the Director – Finance Transformation, the incumbent's main mandate will be to plan, lead, and deliver process and control optimization projects in collaboration with Agropur's various teams. This person will act as a change agent, challenging the status quo while promoting buy-in from Finance teams and stakeholders.

The Senior Advisor will also contribute to implementing a culture of continuous improvement in processes, procedures, and controls within the organization.

What this role involves:

More specifically, the responsibilities include:

  • Lead a project to redesign the month-end analysis environment, working closely with Finance teams and stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, while influencing the solutions to be implemented.

  • Develop and recommend concrete, innovative solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, challenging the status quo to improve processes and Finance team performance.

  • Direct, plan, and oversee targeted optimization projects and initiatives, ensuring their success in collaboration with Finance teams to accelerate the month-end closing process.

  • Analyze and challenge key processes within the Finance function to maximize efficiency.

  • Establish effective communication channels between Finance teams and other departments, demonstrating recognized leadership that engages peers.

  • Be accountable for achieving project results and objectives, acting autonomously and ensuring follow-up with various stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; a professional accounting designation is considered an asset.

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role or in relevant functions.

  • Good knowledge of SAP.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish credibility and foster a recognized collaborative environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and a strong focus on finding practical solutions.

  • Proven experience in process improvement.

  • Project management experience.

  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
