This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, sanitation, and upselling while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, upselling menu items, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during peak hours
  • Restock supplies and ensure the food display area is appealing and organized
  • Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to food service operations and upselling techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 44 per week
