CEDA is currently seeking Drivers, Class 1 or 3 at our Dawson Creek, BC location Working on a call out basis, our dispatch group will keep you busy

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of Pressure Trucks, Hydrovacs, Combo Units, other assorted Vacuum Trucks, and various specialty tools – work alongside Labourers you will spend 90% of your day outside of the truck, boots on the ground
• Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
• Ensure safety for all team members and property
• Provide quality services to our clients
• Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
• Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done
• Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being done
• Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
• Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time

Role Specifications:

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
• Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 speed, doesn't matter you will pass CEDA's driver assessment with flying colours)
• Prior experience driving a Pressure or Vacuum Trucks is an asset
• 1+ years of operator experience in an industrial environment
• First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certification would be an asset
• Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset but not required, we will train you
• Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficient with driving manual transmissions on commercial vehicles
• You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
• Enjoyment for physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis)
