Senior Network Analyst

Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Analyst to join their Information Technology team. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of network and infrastructure support, including design, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring reliable and secure operations across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain network operations to ensure system integrity and reliability.
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, access control, and wireless solutions.
  • Manage upgrades and patching to address emerging operational and security needs.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, and Windows Server technologies.
  • Support digital recording, transcription, and streaming infrastructure.
  • Perform backup and restore procedures and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
  • Monitor and maintain security services across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.
  • Detect, investigate, and remediate security incidents; develop strategies for threat detection and prevention.
  • Administer network accounts, mailboxes, and mobile device integration.
  • Support enterprise VoIP and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Document configurations, standards, and procedures; automate processes where possible.
  • Research and recommend network products and services to improve performance and security.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, plus extensive experience in network and infrastructure management.
  • Cisco certification (CCNP or equivalent) required.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Cisco technologies (switching, wireless, identity services, network automation).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft infrastructure (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, security compliance).
  • Proven experience in secure network design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and data loss prevention.
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; capable of working collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment and adapt to on-call requirements.
