Senior Data Base Modeler

Client: Federal

Location: Ottawa, the work will be performed remotely. This may change in the future.

Contract: 2+ years

Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience Database Modeler.
  • Delivered at least
    ONE (1) project

within the last 5 years
as a Database Modeler/DBA (Level 3)
- Candidate should has worked on projects
within the last 5 years
providing database modelling services in a SQL server environment.
- Must Have experience with Public Sector.
- Recent experience (within the past 5 years) working with Azure SQL databases.

Must have recent experience (within the last 5 years) with at least one of the following
disciplines
:

  • Customize database conversion routines
  • Finalize Conversion Strategy
  • Generate new database with internal or external clients
  • Maintain data dictionaries
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data stored in the database
  • Develop and implement security procedures for the database, including access and user account management
  • Design, develop and maintain Logical Data Models
  • Construct, monitor and report on work plans and schedules

Certifications:

Candidate should have atleast one or more Microsoft /software certifications.
