Overview of the Position

The
DECO Site Operator – Windshield Repair
role is a
seasonal, on-site position
and a key part of DECO Windshield Repair's summer operations across the U.S. and Canada.

In this role, you will independently operate a mobile repair kiosk, interact with customers, promote windshield repair services, and perform repairs after completing company training. Success in this position comes from a combination of
customer interaction, sales confidence, technical execution, and personal accountability.

This is an ideal opportunity for students or anyone looking to gain real-world experience in sales, customer service, and operations
during the summer season.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Mobile Repair Kiosks:
    Set up, operate, and take down a DECO kiosk at assigned retail locations.
  • Perform Windshield Repairs:
    Complete chip and crack repairs following DECO's quality and safety standards (full training provided).
  • Customer Engagement & Sales:
    Approach customers, explain services, and guide them through the repair process.
  • Promote Repair Plans:
    Educate customers on repair plans and additional services when appropriate.
  • Equipment & Logistics:
    Transport and maintain kiosk equipment, ensuring readiness for daily operations.
  • Professional Representation:
    Deliver a friendly, professional experience that reflects DECO's brand standards.

Qualifications

  • No Experience Required:
    Full training is provided.
  • Vehicle Access Required:
    Must have access to a vehicle to transport equipment.
  • Comfortable Working Outdoors:
    This role is performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong Communication Skills:
    Comfortable speaking with customers and explaining services clearly.
  • Self-Motivated & Reliable:
    Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service.
  • Interest in learning technical repair processes.
