Job Description:

What will you work on?
 

The Process Engineer provides expertise in the continuous improvement of the product creative team that includes Product Development, Design, Packaging and other peripheral teams; supporting business strategy and objectives. The Process Engineer will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of departments to re-imagine and implement new tools and processes, influencing key metrics to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Spin Master leadership teams.

How will you create impact?

  • Identify process/operations improvement opportunities in all areas of Creative teams
  • Actively lead process improvement efforts by collaborating with the business teams
  • Work with leadership teams to execute key deliverables
  • Brainstorm and re-imagine established processes to improve workflow
  • Research best in-class practices within similar industries
  • Work with internal/external parties to develop new tools & reports for the business
  • Document processes and training materials
  • Conduct regular compliance check-ins with cross functional business partners
  • Provide training and guidance during implementation and roll-out phases

What are your skills and experience?

  • Process development/improvement experience
  • Toy or consumer good experience preferred
  • Ability to provide strong leadership to drive innovative yet cost-effective design solutions
  • Experience working with creatives and engineers both within and outside the company
  • Familiarity with productivity and reporting tools such as Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Power BI, Microsoft List, SAP, SQL, Python
  • Experience using project management tools particularly in a business administrative role
  • Demonstrated passion for learning and implementing productivity improvements
  • Experience in implementing Change Management (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with productivity and reporting tools such as Microsoft 365, Power Apps
