Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional nutritional care within assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings. The ideal candidate will assist with meal preparation, food service, and sanitation to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience for residents and patients. Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and serving according to dietary guidelines and safety standards
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
  • Support food safety protocols and maintain proper sanitation practices throughout food service operations
  • Help with inventory management and stock replenishment of kitchen supplies
  • Serve meals to residents or patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist with cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold sanitation standards
  • Follow all safety procedures related to food preparation and handling
  • Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment

Requirements

  • Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents or patients
  • Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
  • Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within scheduled meal times
  • Kitchen experience or food service background is advantageous
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 37.5 per week
