Residential Architectural Draftsperson (SketchUp/Layout + AutoCAD)

We're a Winnipeg design-build firm delivering highly detailed custom homes and renovations. We document and model in SketchUp + Layout and document in AutoCAD 2025.

You will:

  • Produce permit/working drawings (plans, sections, details, schedules) from design intent / direction
  • Build and maintain clean SketchUp models and Layout sheets.
  • Draft and revise AutoCAD construction sets to our standards.
  • Coordinate redlines from design/PMs/engineers; prep municipal submission packages.
  • Keep libraries (components, title blocks, dynamic blocks) tidy and reusable.

You have:

  • 3+ years residential drafting experience.
  • Strong SketchUp + Layout workflow (scenes, tags, components, extensions).
  • Fluent AutoCAD 2025 (typically floor plans and structural investigations).
  • Speed + accuracy; portfolio showing complete house sets.

Nice to have:

  • Winnipeg/MB code familiarity, building science competency, as-builts/field measure experience,

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary/benefits. Full-time, in-office (hybrid possible)
  • Salary based on experience
