Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role located in Essex, ON, for a Yoga and/ or Meditation & Stretch Instructor. The Instructor will design and deliver dynamic classes, including the use of a chair, tailored to different skill levels and group sizes. Responsibilities include demonstrating proper techniques, ensuring safety during sessions, and fostering a welcoming environment for participants. The instructor will also communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and promote the overall wellness mission of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in exercise instruction, experience working with Seniors is a bonus
  • Strong teaching skills, with the ability to adapt sessions to diverse skill levels and ensure participant engagement
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and convey clear, concise guidance during sessions
  • Commitment to client well-being and creating a safe, inclusive atmosphere
  • Relevant experience in teaching group exercise classes
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred
  • Flexible and team-oriented, with a passion for health and wellness
