Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Systems Installer located in Edmonton, AB. The Security Systems Installer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical security systems such as access control and video surveillance. Additional responsibilities include performing structured cabling, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all system components function efficiently. The installer will collaborate with team members, follow design specifications, and adhere to timelines to complete projects successfully.

Qualifications

  • Experience with physical security systems, including access control and video surveillance
  • Proficiency in low voltage design and installation, including structured cabling and PA paging systems
  • Technical skills in system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of Audio-Visual Systems and wireless applications
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Candidates with certifications in low voltage or security systems are preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within project sites in Edmonton and surrounding areas
  • Physical ability to lift equipment and work on ladders as required
