We are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join and strengthen our dynamic team, in one of our offices in Oakville, Burnaby, Edmonton, Montreal or St John.

YOUR MISSIONS

  • Engineering Responsibilities: Be responsible for process engineering activities to coordinate all process activities to meet VTEK's business objectives consistently.
  • Technical Accuracy: Ensure that any engineering work package issued, regardless of phase, is complete, verified, timely, and adequate. Guarantee technical accuracy and soundness of the methods applied to engineering calculations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordination: Coordinate work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an integrated engineering work package.
  • Policy and Procedure Governance: Review, develop, and provide governance to establish and implement VTEK's policies, standards, and procedures for its Process engineering & design team.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve technical problems during reviews. Orient, coach, and mentor other engineers and the design team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ensure lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices are promoted and applied.
  • Proposal Review: Review project proposals and analyze engineering parameters and feasibility for stakeholder needs. Review client engineering proposals and recommend engineering alternatives (specifications, design layout, materials, quality) where warranted.
  • Design Principles: Be familiar with the latest engineering design principles, materials, and best practices and apply them.
  • Business Support: Support business development with technical expertise, research, proposals, and presentations.
  • Engineering Budgets: Assist with engineering proposals and develop engineering budgets.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experience: 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Certification: P.Eng certification.
